About Us

Established in Dalton, GA, in 1989, Cycle-Tex has over 15 years of post-industrial recycling experience. Phil Neff, the company's founder and President, started Cycle-Tex as a logical extension of the carpet industry, which is based primarily in and around Dalton. The company soon developed strong long-term relationships with many of the major carpet manufacturers, enabling Cycle-Tex to become the premier thermoplastics recycler in the area.

After starting with only a handful of employees and a single extrusion line, the company has grown to over 70 employees, two operational extrusion facilities and a fleet of trucks and trailers that operate all over the Southeast. The company has expanded beyond the carpet industry as well, dealing with many diverse industries, customers and suppliers.

Our main plant is located in Dalton, right in the heart of carpet country. Its three extrusion lines run around the clock and process the majority of our material. Our corporate office is also located on site along with our logistics department.

In 2003, we purchased our second extrusion facility in Rome, GA. In addition to its two extrusion lines, this second facility also boasts 100,000 square feet of warehouse space and an on-site laboratory for materials testing.
